I was watching TV yesterday when a commercial came on that had me literally bouncing in my seat. TNT is bringing back one of my all time favorite shows - Dallas!!!
I know, I need a hobby.
Dallas was the first soap of any kind that I actually watched. I had alternating crushes on both Bobby and Ray. I loved how they were rugged and tender at the same time. I wanted to live at Southfork and go to the Ewing barbeque and learn to ride horses and dress for dinner in fabulous outfits. Oh, I cannot wait for summer, when the new episodes will air. Looks like they got several of the original cast members. Never mind that I work nights - I have a VCR. Hopefully I can find some VCR tapes somewhere, LOL. Bring on the drama, TNT! I'll be waiting.....
Remember Gary? He now plays Jeffery on the YOUNG & RESTLESS. I LOVED Dallas too. All that BIG hair and backstabbing. Will have to check out the new show. Thanks for telling us about it. I would have never known. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh, Gary, sweet, troubled Gary! He and Valene had such a powerful love story.....I loved Knots Landing, too, LOL, especially when they crossed over and brought Lucy or JR to California. I was so MAD when Gary hooked up with Abby. She was a bee-yotch for sure. Here I go again. Oh, I cannot wait for the new episodes!
ReplyDeleteGirl, you tickle me! (I hope you don't mind my calling you "Girl"... seems I do it automatically).
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of a "bee-yotch"....oh, I believe I get it...lol, just thought...lol.
Would you believe I never watched Dalas? I caught views of it enough to know what you are talking about. I remember the thing about, "Who shot JR?" I don't rememer the answer or if there was one. Perhaps I am the "Dork"..lol. I don't watch much TV at all.
I am wondering how old your lemon tree is. Maybe as it gets older, you (and I with mine) will have better luck.
Take care.
I too loved Dallas. A co-worker and I would rehash every episode and speculate what would happen next. Also watched Knots Landing, Melrose Place, Dynasty and the Naval one - something like Emerald Point, NAS. Mustn't forget Soap and Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. I wonder if the new Dallas will catch on.
