Good Morning!

After a long night at work I went home and bopped about the house for a while, cleaning and fiddling around online. I didn't realize how late - early - it was until I glanced out the window and saw the gorgeous dawn. Lavender clouds edged in pink on a beautiful blue sky. Have a beautiful day!

This book.....wow. Susanna Sonnenberg has written this memoir of growing up privileged, with a mother who is alternately loving, jealous, strung out, and just plain nuts. They have a complicated relationship that is tested by her mother's outrageous lies but never quite breaks. This one was hard to put down.

The Girls

Lilly is settling into her new home, but it's been a little tough on big sister Baizie. Having never shared mom's attention before, Baizie's been a little green. It doesn't help that she's very mellow and Lilly is....not. I get a kick out of coming home to a bed covered with dog toys when I don't even own a dog.
