The only thing fuzzier than these baby chicks was... |
the fuzziest bunny EVER |
we visited the fowl |
and chatted with the piggies |
There were sweet cows.... |
and noble horses |
Many talented artists shared their work |
Then on to the midway for vomit-inducing rides |
And at the end of the day, a snack of veggies |
batter fried, of course. Cause that's the way it is at the fair~ |
Now that is my kind of veggies! :) I like your style! I always love how the simplictiy of the fair has so much joy! Looks like you guys saw it all! Glad to get a peek!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely day for the fair, it looks like. That was one fuzzy bunny. I agree with Libbie, my kind of veggies. Our county fair just moved out but it was just unbearably hot. Now that the state fair got moved to Grand Island, the county fair is ALL THAT IS left. they are bigger than ever. We don't go. That is what age does.
ReplyDeleteYou're right - it does seem to grow every year ~
DeleteHow sweet those baby chicks are, all yellow and a black one. I have never owned any chicks...of any age...lol. I did have a rabbit once.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun day!
I had a rabbit once, too. His name was Albert.
DeleteOur fair starts later this week. Now I don't have to go, 'cause I've already been with you. Loved seeing all the animals. The artwork too. I want that cabin in the 2nd picture down. FRIED food has never appealed to me unless it's chicken or oysters. But you're right, tis what is at the fair. Glad you had fun.
ReplyDeleteOh, but the fried green beans were heavenly....
DeleteAH! THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. MUST MAKE MORE TIME FOR THAT.
ReplyDeleteSo glad honey you were able to take the day off and enjoy the county fair. I laughed at some of your pics. lol You did a great job of capturing how much fun fairs can be.
ReplyDeleteJust taking a break from the heat and wanted to come by and say hello and to check on you.
Love ya
Maggie
