It's County Fair Time!

We so do not have time to go play right now, which made taking the afternoon off all the more fun. We had gorgeous weather, great company, and the whole afternoon to spend pursuing happiness. So off we went, to the county fair!

The only thing fuzzier than these baby chicks was...

the fuzziest bunny EVER
we visited the fowl

and chatted with the piggies

There were sweet cows....
and noble horses

Many talented artists shared their work

Then on to the midway for vomit-inducing rides

And at the end of the day, a snack of veggies

batter fried, of course.  Cause that's the way it is at the fair~

  2. It is a lovely day for the fair, it looks like. That was one fuzzy bunny. I agree with Libbie, my kind of veggies. Our county fair just moved out but it was just unbearably hot. Now that the state fair got moved to Grand Island, the county fair is ALL THAT IS left. they are bigger than ever. We don't go. That is what age does.

  3. How sweet those baby chicks are, all yellow and a black one. I have never owned any chicks...of any age...lol. I did have a rabbit once.
    Looks like a fun day!

  4. Our fair starts later this week. Now I don't have to go, 'cause I've already been with you. Loved seeing all the animals. The artwork too. I want that cabin in the 2nd picture down. FRIED food has never appealed to me unless it's chicken or oysters. But you're right, tis what is at the fair. Glad you had fun.
