Screwie Louie's, Madeira Beach

This, my friends, is heaven on a plate.  Screwie Louie's of Madeira Beach was just down the road from our motel, so we walked up there one morning for breakfast.  I had the breakfast burrito, which came with  delicious home fries (and I can take or leave potatoes most of the time).  It was also served on a pretty blue and yellow plate. The service, honestly, could have been better, as they weren't busy and we only saw our waitress when she took our order and dropped off the bill (someone else brought the food), but I would recommend the place and I would definitely eat there again.  Hopefully the waitress was just having an off day.  Rats - now I'm hungry!

  5. OOh, I'll be in Clearwater next month; I'll have to make my sister take me there!

If you haven't yet head south and have the crab cakes and sangria at Dockside Daves!

  6. OMG - Dockside Daves! I had daydreams about their onion rings, but for the first time ever, Walker and I shared an order and could not finish them. Guess we're getting old. Last time we were in Madeira Beach DD's was at John's Pass. Now, they're just down the block from Screwie Louie's. Wahoo! Walking distance, so we can enjoy a cold beer with those awesome rings.

  10. Another tidbit- Lana's Tiki Bar aka Lana's Friendly Taven has all you can eat crab legs one day! I can't remember which day, but it's totally worth it! My sis lives in Clearwater!

  11. Kimmi, I should have talked to you before we went on vacation. =) We go to that area fairly regularly, or at least, we used to. Hope you have a great time with your sis. Clearwater is such a gorgeous area! Love their beaches....There used to be an ice cream place on Mandalay in Clearwater Beach that would make any flavor of soft serve you could imagine. I miss that place. We didn't make it up Gulf Blvd to Captain's Pizza this trip, either.....okay, now I'm hungry again, PLUS I want to go back to Florida, LOL.

  14. That looks delicious and makes me hungry. Like my fat beagle, I am always ready to eat. It seems we do have a lot of things to deal with like you said on my blog, and it sounds like you do or have, so my problems look small compared to yours. Thanks for visiting my blog.
