I think this is the last of our fall color. It's raining pretty hard right now, and I'm guessing that when the sun comes up many of these pretty leaves will be in soggy piles on the ground. We're due for a cold spell, too. Might have to break down and fire up the furnace.

Hate to see October go. It's sad to know all those vibrant colors of autumn will fade away. Fire up the furnace, make a cup of tea or cider and curl up on the couch, winter's coming.
