Turn, Turn, Turn.....

Just in time for the kids to head back to school tomorrow, the first touches of red appeared in my neighbor's maple tree.  I always loved back to school time as a kid.  So exciting!  And the fall colors here in the midwest are stunning.

  1. Happy RT!

PS We share a similar blog background - just right for RT too!

  2. Autumnal colors are bold, earth tones of seasonal beauty. I like the colors, and usually the climate. Yet in the back of my mind, I seem to take the dread of the cold season after autumn. I suppose that I need to enjoy each day of autumn (as in any day) for what it is and not hurry along the seasons...the tiniest red shows up powerfully, not at all in relation to its mere size that sits in a sea of green...and nicely captured!

  3. I miss maple trees the most. Here in AK, we only have birch and willow and cottonwood - all orange and yellow leafed trees in fall. It's gorgeous, but seeing red in the autumn is spectacular!
